Installing the Amlogic USB Burning Tool is pretty straightforward on any Windows PC. Install the Amlogic USB Burning Tool on your PC Lesson learned, so now it’s part of my routine. It turns out that all I had to do to fix the issue was keep the TV box connected and powered on during the installation process. The upgrade process kept failing because the drivers never installed. Here, I’ve set it up in my Downloads directory in Windows 10 and created a sub-directory called “Amlogic.” Once you download that file, extract it into a temporary directory. You will be making changes to system files on another device, so Windows wants to make sure you know what you’re doing, after all. The file will work in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, but it will need Administrator permissions in order to run.
